American size 4-6... English size 10... Am I fat??
Question: I'm English, and a size 10, or occasionally an 8, when I shop online for American clothes I'm a 4 or 6... I know my bmi is healthy, and I weight 8 stone 8, which is 120lbs... I know usually this wouldn't be fat, but I am very short, at 5'2... I'm sixteen as well - wouldn't this usually be the skinniest time of my life?
So anyway, is this really fat? (all my friends seem to be thinner)
Answers: No, you are not fat. You just happen to have really skinny friends. And they probably think that you are skinny, too. We tend to be our own worst critics. And 120 is perfectly fine for someone who is 5'2. Don't worry about your weight. There's many more important things in life. As long as you exercise and eat healthy (most of the time), you're fine.
Girl! your body is still growing and 16 is NOT the skinniest time of your life! that is such a lie!
I am 22, and 22 is the skinniest time of my life because of I could not wear a bathing suit at 16, but I look way hotter now than I ever have!
To tell you the truth! I think that you are getting a little heavy for your height.
My advice: hit the gym, or go running outdoors in the morning! if you workout consistantly, not only will you lose some weight, you will also grow taller!
Most importantly, I know that I hated doing this as a teenager, but eat your fruits and veggies!
Eat a grapefruit and an orange with your breakfast everyday. Snack on an apple or a banana and eat a lot of peas or salad with your dinner!
most importantly drink up to 3 litters of water in a day!
Remember! You are what you eat! so always make smart food choices!
Cut out the soda, hard candies and sugar; then yo will lose some weight and look really HOT!!!
Goodluck!
