I get sore and tired after working out. What can I do??


Question: I've been very active for most of my life. I'm a past figure skater and dancer and have considerable but not bulky muscle tone on my body. I'm in my mid 30's. I've noticed, however, that after working out I am sore and tired about 2-3 hours later. The workouts in the gym are not killer either. Here's what I do at the gym:
Treadmill for 30 minutes total - jogging for 15 of those 30 and walking uphill for 10, the rest warmup and cool down.
Free weights: arm curls for biceps -15 pounds - 1 set of 10 reps each arm
free weights - for triceps 10 pounds 2 sets of 10 for each arm
weight machine - pull down thingie behind the neck - 50 pounds - 12 reps
stomach crunches various other ab things on the floor - about 300 of these
I don't skate or dance anymore and if I do this workout at the gym even once a week, I am sore and tired 3 hours later. Hot baths, apple cider vinegar don't help. I guess is the price I might have to pay for aging but it still surprizes me.Thanks
Answers: try stretching not only before and after you work out but later that day and when you wake up the next morning. Also you can use Whey protein, its a powder that you can mix in a drink. It helps build muscle by repairing the tiny tears you put in your muscles after working out, thats what makes you tired.
make sure you stretch after the workout or else it can lead to blood pooling or even loss of workout, plus you are less sore later
