Can you get UTI (Urinary Tract Infection) from sex or oral sex??

Question: Can you get UTI (Urinary Tract Infection) from sex or oral sex? If a male has UTI, can he give it to the female? I've looked at different sites and they seem to contradict one another. Some say you cannot get it through sex, but you can through oral sex (which seems strange). Some sites say you can't get it at all. Some also say a female can get it from the male because the penis can push it up and the bacteria can make it's way up the urethra and into the bladder.

So, does anyone know FOR SURE or have a really legit medical website that can give me the answer? Thanks.
Answers: Yes.
Peno-vaginal unprotected sex gives enough opportunity for the exchange of the micro-organisms. Particularly in the females, the anatomy is such that infection can travel to the bladder pretty easily. Though less common, but males also can get it.

Some micro organisms harbored in the oral cavity may cause UTI. That is also possible more easily in the females.
Yes, use a condom.

UTI is caused when bacteria from the... booty... is introduced to the cooter. This can happen through oral sex if the man is near the booty (sorry i can't say anus with a straight face) , but is most common through sex.
MOST women get them, especially women with smaller anatomy, virgins on their first time (used to be called Honeymoon-itis), or women who don't have sex regularly.
You get a UTI when bacteria enter your urethra and urinary bladder. It doesn't matter HOW it happens, but so long as the bacteria are present in your urethra and bladder, you could get an infection. If, during sex (any kind of sex), you engage in motions and activities that would facilitate bacteria to be able to enter your urethra (for example, constant thrusting that can push the bacteria into the urethra), then yes, you may get a UTI.
