Do u throw up with acid reflux??
Question: not all the time seems with only spicy foods
Answers: Its like throwing up. Its stomach acid in your throat., and it can lead to lesions. Aloe vera gel is a good treatment for that. What causes it is a malfunctioning cardiac valve (thats what its called, its not in the heart just the location, hence the term heartburn ).
No, but know someome who has this problem after eating papaya. sd its the problem of the digestive system
yes!
Some do, I don't but I do occasionally vurp (sorry about TMI). You do need to talk to your doctor now and find out if you should be taking Nexium or something like that before it does a lot of damage to your esophagus. They will also want to check for ulcers.
Avoid the spicy foods.
Wow it's scary that every day people are giving medical advice, because some of it is way wrong. Remember to NOT just follow what you see on the internet and always consult a physician if you have a problem. Acid reflux is NOT a cardiac valve.
Acid Reflux or GERD, (Gastroesophageal reflux disease) is a condition in which the liquid content of the stomach regurgitates (backs up, or refluxes) into the esophagus. The liquid can inflame and damage the lining of the esophagus although this occurs in a minority of patients.
It's usually caused by eating certain foods or liquids, but mostly by eating too late in the evening and too close to bed time. Coffee and Alcohol can also make it worse.
There are medications for this.
VERY IMPORTANT: There was a study done at the Mayo clinic and if you do have reflux symptoms while your laying down, lay down on your LEFT side. If you lie down on your right side, your esophagus points down and you will have much more reflux. If you lie on your back you'll have some reflux, but if you sleep on your LEFT side, the esophagus will point up and you won't have it anywhere near as much, or not at all. Good luck to all.
Yes quite often....and it really gets annoying because I will wake out of a dead sleep and throw up.
Oh yes. Usually a real bad acid kind of burning in the back of your throat goes along with it.
You can, you can also have a hungry feeling but you are really not. That is what I had and it made me gain weight because I thought I was hungry more than I really was.
Yes..it has happened to me several times and usually at night when I am laying flat. As long as I take my medications I don't have that problem..and also watch my diet.
you can ... it depends on how bad you have it . usually taking something before you eat will help
yes you can take a pepsid ac b4 eating spicy foods it will help you not get sick from it
I have the same problem.......you might want to go to the doctor pronto, it is possible that its not acid reflux, the problem that causes mine is a stomach ulcer....so, have your doc check your tummy out

Calm down. Take some deep breaths. You are not helping the situation by starting to freak out. Your friend is not going to bleed to death there, right? No.
