Question about shrinks??
Question: If i go to one shrink will he know what i been haveing from another shrink or they wont know unless i tell them about one another, so lets just say if i was taking some meds at my regular one, could i go see another one and get perscribed more of that would they find out threw insurance? i am not planning on doing this just was curious
Answers: You therapists won't know about one another, at least during the sessions, but when they reference your insurance and medical history, they will see you are getting meds from another, and probably won't prescribe you with any other medications. If by some off reason they don't notice the other medications being prescribed, your pharmacist and insurance company will know, and they will intervene to keep you getting overly medicated.
Your insurance company would be the ones who found out. Unless you just use your own money for prescriptions.
