Asperger Syndrome origines??

Question: I was researching Aspergers syndrome and found a website about Neanderthal theory, which says that if modern humans and neanderthals interbreed, and offspring survived and later mixed with other modern humens, then thats why some people born today have Aspergers. If this is true then Aspergers isn't really a disorder.

Answers: Oh please..... am not even gonna click on the link, that's ridicules.
That idea (I won't honor it with the word theory which has a very strong meaning in scientific circles) is silly. First, the vast majority of researchers are pretty darn sure that no interbreeding occurred, and more evidence comes in all the time (this question has been looked at). Second, how would anyone have ANY IDEA what results would occur when a homo sapiens and another species interbred? You would also tend to see geographic concentrations of asperger's, and I bet it occurs pretty equally over the races and continents.
An interesting theory, but I think you are barking up the wrong tree. First off, the girl in the photo on the link you provided looks just like a girl in a Save the Children TV commercial. I'm pretty sure she wasn't a Neanderthal.

I didn't see anywhere in your theory where you attempted to explain why autistic genetics doesn't really follow mendellian genetics. Instead, the prevalence of autism in the progeny is directly related to the age of the father. So an aspie who has kids before 20 has a good chance of having non-aspie kids. Between 20 and 30 they will be non-expressive carriers. Over 30, they will have the disability with the severity increasing with the father's age.

Those ages are approximate, but anytime you see a family with autism, its almost a sure bet that the older males are better off than the younger males. Females have the whole X chromosome thing that protects them, but still, the fact that they can get it says that there may be multiple genes that are responsible.

As to what started it all, I think that somebody sat on a pot of radium or got damaged some how. Still, I have to wonder if the incidences of autism isn't somehow linked to cancer. Some families have a higher prevalence of cancer than others. I wonder if there is any correlation.

Cancer is cells that have been modified genetically so that they grow uncontrollably. Viruses like varicela (Chicken Pox) actually rewrite our DNA when we get the disease. There may be other viruses responsible for autism.
Yes some people beleive Asperger Syndrome is used as a social construct.

How come it was discovered During WW2

How come Hans Asperger's school was bombed at near the end of WW2.

Did Adolf Hitler wanted to get rid of people with it.
It's been conclusively proven recently that humans don't have any Neanderthal DNA. I don't think this is true. Humans and Neanderthals couldn't interbreed.
PS: That Neanderthal kid looks just like Boris Becker's kids.
