Why would a gross, fake photo freaky me out??
Question: I saw this stupid STUPID photo on a website that was just gross, not perverted or anything, but it made me sick to my stomach. How could something fake and nonsensical freak me out like a phobic reaction?? What would cause that to happen??

Shock factor, my guess. I've been completely weirded out by something a kindergartener would laugh at before. Oh the other hand, I can see blood, gore, and guts all day long and it won't scathe me at all. Probably the mood you're in at the time you see it.
