MIND - Depression??
Question: I recently looked on the MIND Website and there was a list of about 20 symptoms and it said if you can tick off 5 then you may be depressed. I ticked about 15! Whats all that about!
Answers: The Mind website is a great source of information on all kinds of mental illness.
You must obviously have come to website after researching depression, and or other mental health problems, so although you may not want to admit it you perhaps know that you are suffering from depression, and you wanted more information to confirm your thoughts/fears.
It looks like you have had it confirmed by admitting to suffering from so many of the stated symptoms. Now is the time to get yourself some help, make an appointment to see your GP and go and discuss things with him/her.
The alternative would be to go back to the Mind website and search for your local association:

They are more informal than the health services but have a great deal of knowledge and expertise, and are used to dealing with people on a daily basis. They won't judge you but will be able to offer support and understanding.
Hope this helps.
