What's a good enclyclopedia on psychiatric disorders??
Question: I want a good encyclopedia on psychiatric disorders that isn't over 30 bucks....
If it's impossible then a good website maybe?
Thank you for your time in reading this. <3
Answers: Try Diagnostic and Statistical Manual 4th ed (DSM- IV) -- I think there's a sort of desk reference size that is less expensive and for clinicians to keep in their lab coat pocket.
Try www.webmd.com or www.healthyplace.com
I don't know about the 30 bucks, but the best manual is the DSM IV, or the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual, version 4. It is the bible for psychiatrists in the diagnosis of mental disorders. There are big chunks of it on the web, so you might just google DSM IV and see what you get.
