I have 2 in left eye and i have 2.5 in right eye if am eligble for pilot??
Answers: No. Not in defence. As for commercial pilot I'm not sure
Well, I'm interested about getting a flying license as a pilot too, so I know some things about this.
You can get LASIK to correct your vision to 20/20 if you want to be a military pilot. No glasses and contacts allowed.
Glasses, contacts and LASIK can be eligible for commercial pilot, as long as it corrects your eyesight to at least 20/40...
You will have to ask someone about your local regulations, call a flight school they will know.
In most countries needing glasses is not a problem to getting a legal pilot's licence. Some employers like the military or airlines may have restrictions on the power of glasses allowed or a minimum level of uncorrected acuity for their pilots. The restrictions will be different for different types of aircraft and will vary from employer to employer.
I hate that advert, the woman's voice is so annoying. I agree with you. I give you a star. Happy Christmas
not for US military...no corrective lenses allowed....no lasik correction either
