Uncomfortable contacts??
Question: I have tried all the brands my optometrist has and have not found a brand that i feel comfortable with. Also I cant see clearly, do you know what can I do?
Answers: i don't know for sure. I use acuvue 2's. Maybe it could be the solution you're using? Try all brands of saline. I use Aquify. I used to use Renu until they switched to multiplus. I could not use Multiplus that's for sure.
Try a different optometrist who has different brands.
I've had a great result with Acuvue Moist.
Take Restasis eyedrops twice a day. I have dry eyes where most contacts are uncomfortable, but Restasis really does help. If you can't afford it or don't have insurance, use Genteel (over the counter). It's not as good as Restasis but better than nothing.
My eyes are super sensitive too and get irritated easily, so I can only wear contacts for a few hours and then put on glasses. Maybe when you get home from work or school, you can switch to glasses to give your eyes a break.
Have you tried Acuvue Oasis contacts?? They're not perfect but are by far the most comfortable for me. What do you mean you can't see clearly??? Sounds like your optometrist might have you on the wrong prescription.
I've got dry eyes which means contacts are kind of uncomfortable after 6-8 hours. I haven't found a solution; I'm afraid I just take them out after work. I looked into laser eye surgery but apparently it isn't recommended for dry eyes and can cause permanent irritation. I'm hoping the surgery improves so I can get it in 5-10 years.
Maybe contacts are not for you.
