Sunglasses and Contact Lens Visual Acuity...??
Question: I wear Purevision Multifocal contacts and recently got an expensive pair of polarized Revo sunglasses for my birthday (first sunglasses since wearing contacts). The Revo lenses are great as far as sunglasses go, particularly with glare. However I have noticed that they noticeably cut down the visual acuity of my contacts, particularly with distance vision.
Does everyone with contacts and non-prescription sunglasses have this experience? What have your experiences been?
Answers: That should not happen... go back to your optometrist and ask for an acuity check with the sunglasses over your contacts. Though I've never had Revo... I wear Maui Jim... the quality is similar.
