What's This Thing In My Eye??
Question: I get this on and off, just these clear little gelly like things that float through my eye. They don't hurt or anything, I just can't see through them. They move too, I can get them out with my fingers. I don't know what they are. Do you know?
Answers: floaters
,, normal, but if there are a lot, could be a sign of retinal detachment , if you are truly worried go to an optometrist
EDIT: i'm of age 17 as well, and yes , i get them a lot too.
I hope it's nothing bad.
They're called floaters.
They are called eye floaters. Click on this link for a medical explanation. http://www.mayoclinic.com/health/eye-flo...
floaters.....no biggie
They are called floaters and get more common as we age. They are not anything to worry about unless you start seeing bilinding flashes of light, which could mean problems with the retina. Just make sure you go for a check up with your opthalmologist(eye doctor) at least once a year. You will be glad you did.
They are called floaters,as you get older you will notice them more.
They are harmless, unless you see a meteor then get to a doctor.
wutt the heck? thats weird. idk
cataract
Yeah that's normal. Don't pick at them with your finger though. You'll scratch your eye and that sucks! If it doesn't hurt don't worry about it and flush your eye out with water. I usually put my eye under the shower head with hot water. It makes it feel better. Take eye drops if you want and REMEMBER..you can always go to the eye doctor..or any doctor when you have a problem..don't feel embarrassed.
geez that might be something serious like catiracts, go to the doctor.
HAHHAHAHAHHA.
this made me laugh like mad ,
thanks for making my night :)

Never Never Never put your fingers or finger nails in your eyes!! Thats a great way to get an eye infection for sure. First wash your hands and than wash your face and try and get a eye wash solution it will work. That can only be eye mucous like when sleep gets in your eyes. ewww lol no seriously get some eye wash and rinse your eyes well. You might want to see your eye doctor to be sure theres nothing else going on with your eyes.. and remember keep the finger nails and the fingers out of your eyes!! ..good luck.
They're harmless. I know they are referred to as floaters and it's just material trapped in the fluid of your eye. Everyone has it.
thay are yust little things evryone gets them the go away if you stare at them (lol)
EYE PROBLEMSS! consult a doctor before doing anything else... failure to do so may result serious damages to ur eye.
I think it's eye goop. I get it too. It's kinda gross and irritating. I use cotton swabs to take them out if I can't get it out. It sticks really well to them. Sorry if this sounds gross.
Uhhh have you heard of a thing called a doctor...
it's floaters alright. it's kinda wierd since you keep getting them at this age. but if it has been like this for a long time it should not by significant. however, if it is a sudden dramatic onset i suggest you go have an eye check
It could be a start of a cateract. You are best to see an optometrist as soon as possible to get them cut out, otherwise it will be too late and you will lose vision in your eye.
Some call it sleep in your eyes, and some call it eye boogers. Its nothing bad pretty normal.
