Do flourescent lights/ white lights cause eye sight to deteriorate??
Question: I wear my sunglasses indoors and outdoors to protect my eyes from harsh light rays
Answers: don't look directly at the lights=they hurt the eyes and make them pain ,but I don't know of anyone who went blind from them
Indoor lighting cannot cause your eye sight to deteriorate. However, if you are worried about the indoor lighting, try wearing glasses with tinted lenses as opposed to shades while indoors. Check with your eye doctor to see if they offer tinted lenses or go to Lens Crafters, Sears, or PearlVision. The cool thing about tinted lenses is that you can get them tinted in any color. I used to wear my prescription glasses tinted and when I switched to clear it made a big difference as far as indoor lighting. You may be able to get tinted glasses even if you don't have a prescription, but check with your doctor first.
