My vision is blurry and doubled in one eye -- help??
Question: Okay, I just woke up, and my vision is really blurry and doubled in my right eye -- kind of how when you wake up and your vision is blurry, but then you blink and it goes away? Only this won't go away.
Few things about me: I wear contacts regularly, but I took them out and everything was find before I went to sleep. I'm also on doxycycline which supposedly can cause blurred vision...
I'm pretty freaked out about this... does anyone have any insight?
Answers: If you accidently abraded (scratched) your cornea (the surface of your eye) while removing your lenses last night this could account for the blurry vision as could the meds you are on per what you stated in your query. Either way you should see your eye doctor pronto; Never mess around with eyes is my policy! It is probably nothing but better safe than sorry.
