Well
myopic eyes (short sighted) are mainly due to the increased axial length. So the whole eye is elongated looking like a rugby ball, so perhaps it will make the eye look bigger from the outside.
Whereas hyperopic (long sighted) eyes tend to be the opposite (shorted) and therefore smaller looking.
