Coloured eye contacts??
Question: hey guys i really really want coloured eye contacts but i cant touch my eyes any suggestions???
Answers: It was hard for me to put contacts in my eyes at first too. It took me about 30 minutes to put my first contact lens in the first time I did it; I think everyone has a hard time touching their eyes at first. Just get the contacts, take your time while trying them out, and you'll soon get used to touching your eyes (btw... you're not actually literally touching your eye while putting in a contact lens - you're only carrying it up to the eye, and then it attaches by itself). Only in an instance where the contact perhaps slipped off, you would need to navigate it toward the pupil using your eyelid and finger.
The lenses don't magically jump into your eyes all by themselves. So, you'll either get over your fear of touching your eyes and be able to wear them, or you won't. My guess is, that if you want them badly enough, you'll get over yourself...
If you have a friend who wears contacts, watch them take theirs in and out (DO NOT TRY TO PUT THEIR CONTACTS IN YOUR EYES, MIND YOU. THAT IS NOT WHAT I'M SAYING) and go through the motions with them. Practice holding your top and bottom eyelids open...do you wear eye make-up? Do you use eyeliner? Usually the girls are better at getting their lenses in the first time, because we are used to touching the area around our eyes and using make-up.
Just make your mind up that you're going do it, and do it.
