Do wearing contacts for more than 12 hours affects my vision??
Question: Hi all,
I am computer Porfessional. does wearing contacts for more than 12 hours affects my vision?
Answers: If you have the long wear thats fine. I wouldnt wear them to bed.
It won't affect your vision but for me, it totally dries out my eyes. My ophthalmologist noticed I had been wearing them for longer times (15 hours) and noticed it had worn a bit on my eyes. So there was a difference for how long I wore them.
my son wears the ones you only change once a month...so I say no. But, that being said, I have heard it is good to take a break and move away from the screen and focus on something else once in a while and give your eyes a break...any your body if you sit in an unhealthy position, ie neck strain.
Not really although ur vision might be blur due to dryness. And redness also occur due to lack of oxygen
Depends on the type of lenses. In most cases it shouldn't make any difference after that length of time.
No it shouldn't I wear mine 17-18 hours a day and I went to the eye doctor yesterday and he said it was fine.
That all depends on what type of contact you have and wear. There are some daily wear and some extended wear.
