Contact lens??
Question: I wear glasses (bi-focals) Can I wear contacts? I'm always misplacing my glasses, and I hate the way I look with them on
Answers: Depending on your prescription, there are lenses out there which would be suitable for you. Lenses such as Acuvue Bifocal or Softlens Multifocal may be suitable for you. If you find that you do not get on with these you can also try something called monovision where one eye works as the distance vision and the other eye works as the near vision, and together you get vision at all distances. This sometimes works out cheaper too as you can use 2 standard lenses rather than expensive bifocal or multifocal lenses. However, you would need to have a contact lens fitting with an optician as your contact lens prescription is not the same as your spectacle prescription and you would need to be measured up for the correct size lens as well. They would then be able to advise you on the best lens options for you. Hope this helps :)
Yup, of course you can,just visit your local Opticians first to get a check up and an induction on the earing and looking after of your eyes.. And you'll be wearing them in no time..

It's just super important that you keep them extra clean so you don't get an infection.

OK, I used to wear contacts, but when I (ahem) graduated to bifocals I had to give them up. According to my opthamologist it depends on how bad your astigmatism is(if that's your problem) and will determine whether or not you can wear bifocal contacts. So check with your eye doctor - he/she can guide you.

yes you can. they come in handy. take a little while to get used to them but i find them awesome.

dude contacts are beast. i have them and they rockkkkk. i hate how i look with glasses on too so this is perfect for you. i have really bright blue eyes and you cant even tell with glasses on. oh and if you get them, make sure you dont sleep in them even though the doc sayd its fine. i did once and the next morning i had to stay home because i thought i had a terrible case of pink eye..i was crying all day.

Yes, of course you can, mate! All you have to do is make sure it's okay by talking to your doctor. They'll have to measure your eye, see what the shape of it is. That way the contact lenses fit comfortably.

if u need them get them!! I love wearing mine! but remember u have to be way MORE careful with contacts than glasses. they can tear easily if ur careless and u can lose them!! good luck making a choice!!!
