Coloured contact lense users, please help! Advice??
Question: I have just got some trials from my optitian and they look pretty false, they haven't the effect i have seen online on some pictures, they are freshlook colours in green, blue and saphire blue which looks the most unreal, some advice would help, thanks
Answers: What is your question? I wear freshlook colorblends, the natural colors like honey and hazel. I'll sometimes wear the sapphire or green when I want an edger look like for Halloween or a party. I have pictures if that would help
.....It depends on your eye and skin color...have you been to the freshlook website lately? you can upload a picture of yourself and try out different colors...it looks a bit more dull online than in real life..so for natural i would go with the contacts that brighten your eyes, the radiance collection....http://www.freshlookcontacts.com/
If you got the Freshlook Colors, they are opaque lenses, designed for complete color change, and they do tend to look very unnatural on most people.
The Freshlook Colorblends will give a much more natural color, because they are not as opaque, and have 2 colors on the lens to blend more naturally with your real eye color. The Freshlook Dimensions also look very natural.
Try to stay away from colored contacts that say they are opaque; pretty much all of them like that look fake, no matter what brand they are.
Go back to your eye doctor, and see what else they have to offer in colored contacts. They usually don't charge you a thing to go back in and play around with the trial contacts, and it'll help you decide what colors and types you do and don't like before you start ordering them by the box.
