Whens best 4 sex??
Question: My last period was on the 17th of this month, using a website I have found out that my fertile times are as follows :
2/12/07 - fertile
3/12/07 -more fertile
4/12/07- most fertile
5/12/07 - most fertile - ovulation
6/12/07 - fertile
and my next period is predicted for the 19/12/07
I was wondering if i have sex today and maybe friday,(is there a chance of me getting pregnant (im not sure how long sperm lives) or should i wait til nearer the time for better chances?
Answers: trying to get pregnant means you should be practising within 5 days of ovulation. sperm lasts for 5 days, so have your fun from the 2nd to the 7th for optimal conditions. at least your ova will be bombarded by the sperm and you'll have more of a chance to get preggers.

A sperm can live up to 6 days in your body. But yes, after marriage is the safest to have sex.
Don't be stupid. You can fall pregnant at any time. Always use a condom. If you are really worried about getting pregnant then don't have sex. Full stop.

Your chances of having a girl are higher if you have sex two days before or after ovulation as the female sperm live longer. If you have sex every day then the sperm count is not as high as if you skip a day in between.
your best bet would be to have sex on all of those days, and every other day as well...
If you want to get pregnant, what you want to do is... ok if your cycle is 28 days, divide that in two, on day 14 you ovulate, and... say... try harder from day 9 to day 19. The data you got seems accurate, a little late, cause, again, if your cycle is 28 days, you should ovulate on dec 1, but again, that depends on how long your cycle is.
Divide your average cycle in two, that,s when you ovulate.

That means if your menstrual cycle is a 28-day one, that could make day #14 your most fertile day (day #1 is the first day that your last period began). If yours is a 30-day cycle, day #16 could be the time to go for it. A 32-day cycle would have day #18 as one of the best days to get pregnant.
