How do you switch from NuvaRing to the pill??
Question: I have read the information on the Ortho-Tricyclin Lo website and I am confused. It says to take the ring out as you normally would in the third week. In the fourth week begin using your pack of pills using either a 1st day or Sunday start, whichever comes first. This is the first and last ring I've used (didn't like NuvaRing) and I've been spotting since I started. Does that count as starting? Anyone have any advice? I don't want to pay to see the doctor for a question right now if I don't have to. Thank you!
Answers: Since you are not sure when your period started because of the constant spotting, I would suggest just doing a Sunday start with the pills. Start taking the pills the Sunday after you remove the ring.
