Delivery charges??
Question: do anyone know howmuch it costs for a baby delivery w/o insurance?
i couldnt find infrmn from any useful website.
particularly in tallahassee, florida?
thanks.
Answers: It depends on what yours and the babies needs are...some women require an episiotomy or a C-section and sometimes babies require incubator or other special care...cost is based on needs. Talk to socal services at the hospital you will be going to...there are programs to assist with uninsured and underinsured people
Well, at least a few hundred dollars, plus all your medications (pain meds, etc.) plus all the stuff you use afterward (pads, prei-area cleansing things, baby's diapers, formula if you use it, etc.) and don't forget the anesthesiologist if you get an epidural, and surgical fees if you need an emergency c-section. I wouldn't recommend anyone go without insurance!
Wow...I didn't realize you had to pay for diapers and pads and everything. I live in Canada, when I had a baby it cost $0, that included 3 days in NICU and emergency surgery for me! It's so sad that the richest country in the world doesn't offer the same for it's citizens.
