Weight watchers??

Question: Can you please give me info on weight watchers if you are on the plan? I hvae already looked at the website but i want people that are actually members to give me some insight on this program before i pay for a membership. Thanks so much
Answers: I would thoroughly recommend weight watchers. I have done it twice, once before i had my baby and again after, now I have just reached lifetime membership again. the beauty is that it is not a diet, it really just teaches you how to control what and how much you eat. every food has 'points' according to how many calories and how much saturated fat it contains, you can eat anything so you never really feel deprived. but you quickly learn that things that have high points are not really worth it, and that you can eat much more if you stick to lower points. for me it has really worked because i have been able to incorporate it into my lifestyle, been able to go out to restaurants, cook almost anything i want at home and lose weight. whenever i get a bit sick of a particular food, then i can just find new ideas and recipes. the other thing that has really helped is going to the weekly meetings , meeting other people going through the same thing, getting some great ideas and tips and being accountable for my weight loss. if you follow it successfully you will lose weight and maintain it. it is worth every penny you may spend. good luck
I do weight watchers at home, and went from 194 to 135. It's the easiest plan I have found. It's really just about portion size. You can eat anything, but you have to decide if it's worth the points. You get so many points, depending on your weight. You'll have a calculator and a book to figure out your points you used. It's confusing for a week or two, but once you figure it out it's simple. If you mess up just get right back on. No matter what diet it is you are going to cheat at some point. The meetings would help for support and explaining the diet. Good Luck.
It is a healthy lifestyle, it incorporates eating healthy and exercise. easy to follow and you do not have to buy special foods unless you want to. you can go to meetings or join on line. The group support is great and your weight is confidential, only if you want to you share how much you have lost. I met lots of great friends at meetings.
It's a great program, I have lost weight following. The plan allows you to eat all the foods you love, and still lose weight. I would suggest the meetings too, they are fun and informative. Good luck!
