From Yaz to Trinessa????
Question: I am almost done with my last pack of Yaz. My last pill of the pack is Friday. I had my Dr. change my pill because of all the head aches and bleeding between periods. But I don't know when to start taking the trinessa. Do I finish the Yaz pack and start taking the Trinessa or do I wait untill sunday, cause I'm on my cycle now and take it? If I wait till Sunday I will have 2 days of no pill. I have been on the trinessa website and can't seem to find an answer. Hope someone can help me out.
Answers: Finish your period and start your new birth control or you could also do a Sunday start. It makes no difference either way. When i switched birth control pills i just made it a Sunday start right after my last period, so whatever works for you.
I would think that you would start on Trinessa right away. To be sure you could ask your doctor. In any case it should balance out in the long-term.. it's only a two day difference.
