Where's the best website to find out about them and using pads and tampons?
please help i'm scared
Answers: this definitley is your period
cramps r most likely gunna happen every time u get it
i prefer to use always
and ur gunna have to tell ur sometime i didnt tell mine yet but i will soon
if ur really scared, tell ur mom(if u have 1) by phone, tell a teacher or any other female u trust (even ur sister!)
You could be starting your period. If you are embarrased to talk to your dad about; speak with a women that you can trust. But your dad will have to know sooner or later, he will have to give you money to help you buy some napkins or tampons.
Go to Always.com or Tampax.com; these companys give free samples away.
It sounds like your period. Mine was the same way at age 11. If you use tampons you need to really look into what they have inside them. Most are bleached out cotton which is really harmful to the body. Pads have the same , at least you do not have to insert them. Most health food stores carry a natural brand of both pads and tampons.
Do not be scared it is another sign of growing up. Just remember to put it on your calender so you will be prepared next month. You should be happy!!! Hope this helps.
Maybe you could be about to start i know it's kind of a scary time but it happens! if you have an aunt or a school nurse talk to them you could go to playtextampons.com i think that's a pretty good source.... But really you can talk to your dad about it Dont be embarresed! it's normal and he will completly understand!! some parents even take there girls shopping!!! dont be embarresed it's ok!! just talk to a friend or a friends mom or aunt or grandma they will give you the best advice but dont discount your dad he could totally help you! it's a normal thing!! hope this helps!
yes, it sounds like its coming, nothing to be scared of tho. just one more annoyance of womanhood. i would get some pads, always ultra are good, and they are thin and they have wings . just remember to change them every 4-8 hours depending on how offtin you need them. i would wait on the tampons until you are ready to try them. they can be a little scarey at first. i never used them until i was 22 because i would put one in, then have such horrible cramping after 15 minutes that i would be doubled over in pain wanting to puke my brains out. i dont know why, but eventually i was like, this is crazy, i cant feel like i'm wearing diapers!!! and i tried it again and again and again, and now, i cant stand pads. but on the other hand, one of my friends have never used a pad in her life, she started on tampons cause thats all that was available to her. you should tell your dad anyways. he might want to take you out to celebrate, you are a woman now!! and besides, he'll be the one buying them probably and he's going to need to know what brand you like the most. its nothing to be worried about telling him, remember, your mom had a period too and he dealt with that!
This definitely sounds like your period, dont panic. You should get some pads, it doesnt really matter what brand, but get regular with wings to protect your panties.

yes it probably is.

you should talk to a trusted female friend, teacher, coach, nusre at school, etc. or family member.

any of the popular brands such as always, kotex, tampax, playtex, ob, have great websites that explain their products and talk about menstruation. i think seventeen the magazine also has great info.

personally i prefer pads- always ultras. i used tampons with applicators and without. i prefer ob which does not have an applicator but that is messier than playtex or tampex which use applicators.
i don't use tampons becuase i could always feel them in me and they made my period last longer. others just love tampons and say pads feel like a diaper.

there is nothing to be scared of really. it is rather gross IMO and can be messy but nothing to fear. if the cramps get bad get some midol; it really works.

my sister and i got our periods at the same time. she was 13, i was 11. i have always gotten a regular monthly period; she did not until she went on a certain birth control.every woman is different.

you evenutally will have to tell your dad won't you?
