Answers: If it's firm, movable, and tender then it's a good thing... probably just a mammary gland.
If it's hard, not movable, growing, and no pain... go see your Doctor.
It is very common to have lumpy boobs.... but if your instincts tell you there's something wrong... listen to your body.
if you dont want to see a male doctor...you are allowed to see a lady doctor if its of a personal nature - but do go & get it checked out anyway honey...its more than likely nothing at all - but its best to be sure. good luck!
You have to. Please see a doctor - if it's symmetrical, it's probably nothing serious, but have it checked out.
Seek help from your GP.
Go and see your regular doctor. It's probably nothing but for you peace of mind you need to talk to a medical professional.
Have you told your mum, parent or trusted family member. I think you should if you haven't. It's probably nothing to worry about as you are young, but then again it is always better to be safe than sorry. If perhaps you feel too embarrased to tell someone in the family although this is nothing to be embarrased about) then take a friend with you to the doctor just to check it out. I am a similar age to you (14) and that is what I would do. there are websites i could forward for you but the thing is you never know if these websites are 100% accurate and they may say you are fine when you are not. Just be safe and dont keep it to yourself.
You need to see your doc as soon as possible. At your age, once you started your period, you should do monthly self breast exams. If this has been going on for a year, why didn't you tell someone? I'm not trying to scare you, but you need to see your doc. The doc and the nurse will show you how to perform a breast exam properly. Don't wait any longer
Find out if there is a Well Woman clinic associated with your GP's surgery. You might find it easier to discuss with a female medical person.
There is a 99.99% chance that it's nothing. You can be 100% sure if you go to the doctor, so go to the doctor. In the meanwhile, don't worry.
prob nothing just hormones but to be on the safe side go speak to your mum if you can if not have yo a friend you can trust?
you can always go to your G.P i know its a bit embarrassing but believe me they have seen it all before sweetheart. try and talk to some one if not try www.nhsdirect.co.uk but try talk to some one remember 85%of lumps are nothing to worry about your body has just started developing

To relax yourself you must see your doctor.
Please talk to your mum, she would be devastated if she found out that you were asking these sort of questions on a site like this, you are leaving yourself open to abuse and some nasty sarcastic replies. Not everyone will offer good advice, most will but what you need right now is to talk to your mum and she will get you the right help. Please do it now x
these lumps are probably just part of your aereola, the brown or pink bit around your nipples.. it is also common for your breasts to feel lumpy around the time of your period... you could also actually be feeling the actual breast tissue depending on the size etc. it is extremely rare for a girl your age to have breast cancer, it could be benign tumor which means it is not cancerous, just a mass of tissue.. i would not panic myself if i were you, but do go to your gp who will alleviate any worrys and diagnose you... good luck and well done for being breast aware....
YES! i would strongly advise you to get an appointment with you GP as soon as you can. This is just to be on the safe side. Don't worry about it though, i found lumps on my legs and groin area and got them looked at by my GP. It turns out that they are just fatty lumps of tissue, nothing to worry about. So see your GP as soon as possible! ;-)
